What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your card number or full payment details ourselves.
When visitors interact with content you host on viaqr (pages, forms, files, QR codes), we collect basic analytics on your behalf: visit counts, general engagement signals, and similar usage metrics. This data is tied to your resources, not to individual visitor identities, and is presented to you in the form of aggregate summaries. We collect only what is necessary to answer practical questions like "how many people visited my page last week?"
We also collect standard server logs (IP addresses, user agents, request timestamps) as part of operating any web service. These are retained for operational and security purposes.
How we use it
We use account information to provide the viaqr service, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notifications), and respond to support requests. We use analytics data to present your own usage dashboard to you. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Who we share it with
We share data with third parties only as necessary to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and file storage services that operate under their own data processing agreements
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies and tracking
viaqr uses session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking pixels.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information and hosted content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes.
Your rights
You can update your account information at any time from your account settings. If you would like to request deletion of your data or have other privacy questions, email us at support@viaqr.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the product before the changes take effect.
